Gift Planning

The University of Massachusetts Boston offers a full range of charitable gift planning services. These include helping you to make a bequest, create income through an annuity, or name the university as a beneficiary of an insurance policy.

Imagine that what you value most deeply will continue to enrich the lives of generations. Through a scholarship, a faculty fund, a student grant or stipend, or other designations you can create a legacy for the future.

Gift planning allows you to strengthen the university's mission and your charitable gift can provide valuable tax benefits and/or income for life for you and your loved ones. Our planned giving professionals can assist you with leaving a bequest, creating income, or making UMass Boston a beneficiary of your assets.

Lampas Society
The Lampas Society recognizes alumni, faculty, and friends who support the university regardless of the size of their planned gift. Giving may be made through a bequest, life income gift arrangement, retirement plan (IRA, 401(k), 403(b)), life insurance policy, real estate gift, and other estate intentions.
